Super impressed. Walked into town and along the riverbank on Saturday night. Was lovely weather so it was busy but managed to grab a table outside at this restaurant. Lovely staff who were very attentive, you have to order your food inside and only a chalkboard menu but that wasn’t an issue. Lots of fresh seafood on the menu and good prices too. We had starters of chicken wings with blue cheese sauce and Potatoes bravas which were both succulent, tasty and fresh. Mains of Fish and chips and Poach salmon were beautiful. Fish and chips were fresh, crispy, hot and good portions even came with Curry Sauce!!! The poach salmon was presented perfectly with fresh asparagus and Hollandaise sauce. Would highly recommend this place and was one of the best meals I’ve had in Chepstow!

We visited for drinks and then stayed for food after a walk from Caldicot. The location is excellent with tables overlooking the river and bridge and we had nice weather which made it even nicer. After a couple of drinks outside we asked if they had a table for food and they did. The menu was great with a variety of options and lots of fish. For starters we had the chorizo and prawn cocktail, for main my wife had the mussels and I had the scampi. The food was all very good and the service was very friendly. We had wine with the meal and the bill came to 73 for the two of us which wasn’t bad. Great spot, great food and friendly staff.

Fabulous food the prawn and salmon cocktail was delicious and such a generous portion! Loved the belly pork which was as so tender and succulent and the scallops were superb. Add in a fabulous, picturesque riverside location and we were delighted we had discovered this lovely restaurant thank you!

Had a lovely dinner here on Saturday evening, nice setting, amazing food and enjoyed a bit of of live music too

Lovely place . I only didn't like waitresses in leggings and short tops I think they were felling uncomfortable as me walking around. I would like to see a proper waitress outfit for such a nice pub . Food in good price and very tasty I loved it . They have a good cook there and kind staff .beautiful !! Loved it.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Perfect for a beverage after a long hike!

Food was lovely, available from lunch time. It has a nice outdoor benches where you can hangout after you order some drinks. Scenic area, even more beautiful with the awesome spring weather.
